Canadian Association of Continuing Care Educators CACCE
The Canadian Association of Continuing Care Educators (CACCE) is one of three health-related affinity groups of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). CACCE is the member voice for continuing care/support worker education in Canada.
The mission of CACCE is to enhance the quality, effectiveness and consistency of education for unregulated personal care providers to increase the transferability and portability of this occupation. This is accomplished by sharing expertise and knowledge.
Managed by a volunteer chairperson and coordinating committee, CACCE continues to conduct annual educational conferences and annual general meetings, hosted by member institutions.

Call for Abstracts
The Canadian Association of Continuing Care Educators (CACCE) invites submissions for speakers and poster presentations for our 17th annual conference. We welcome proposals from individuals and organizations interested in sharing best practices & successful ideas to their colleagues on the following themes relevant to educators:
Impact of Knowledge on Providing Quality Care
Systems & Partnerships to Support Knowledge
Inter/Intraprofessional Collaboration in Education
Innovative Teaching Practices to Engage Learners
Integrating Intercultural perspectives in the curriculum
Student Success Stories/Strategies
Accommodating Unique Teaching/Learning Needs
Deadline for Submission Friday, February 14, 2020!
Submissions must follow Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts and Sample Abstracts.
Speaker(s) presentations should be a maximum of 30 minutes in length.
Poster submissions should include approximate dimentions of posters or space requirements.
You are welcome to submit other topics for consideration by the review panel.
This is a blind peer-reviewed process.
All Abstract submissions should be sent to Wendy Treble: using “CACCE ABSTRACT” in Subject title. Click the Submit Abstract button to email submission.
Please note: Individuals whose abstracts are accepted for presentation are expected to register for and attend the Conference. No funding is available from CACCE.
A block of rooms has been reserved under CACCE 2020 National at the Hampton Inn on Brunswick Street in Downtown Halifax. Rooms will be held until April 26th. Parking is $23 plus HST and is based on availability.
Rooms are reserved at a corporate rate for May 28 and 29 and will pre-populate when booking online. Please change the dates if you would like to change it for do a pre or post night if needed.
